The T-SIM7080G-S3 from Lilygo is an Internet of Things (IoT) development board based on the ESP32-S3 chip and uses the SIM7080G modem chip from SIMCom. The board supports Cat-M, NB-IoT, WIFI and Bluetooth 5.0 with GPS and has 16 MB flash memory and 8 MB PSRAM2. It can be controlled via various interfaces such as UART, I2C or SPI. The board is ideal for IoT applications like smart home, smart city, smart agriculture, and industrial automation. On the back there is a pre-installed 18650 battery compartment for a Li-Ion battery to enable autonomous operation. If the energy is not sufficient, a 4.4-6V solar cell can be connected in addition to charging the battery.Note: Recommended for advanced users only.We use this board with Claro network, it does not work with kolbi for us.SIM7080G supportsNB-IoTandCat-Min global frequency bands, but doesnot support 2G/3G/4G. Please confirm that the SIM card used supportsNB-IoTorCat-Mbefore use.The SIM card must be inserted first before starting the SIM7080. If the SIM card is inserted after the SIM7080 is turned on, the modem will not be able to detect the SIM card.SpecificationsProduct: T-SIM7080G-S3MCU: ESP32-S3CAT-M & NB-IoT: SIM7080GSIM Card: TF Card: ESP32-S3Clock Speed: 240MhzFlash: 16MBPSRAM: 8MBWireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n-compliant, Bluetooth LE: Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth meshPeripheral Interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO, I2S, CANSIM7080GForm Factor: 77 PINREGION: G: GlobalDimensions: 17.6 15.7 2.4mmCAT-M Frequency Bands: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B8/B12/B13/B14/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B27/B28/B66/B85CAT-NB Frequency Bands: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B8/B12/B13/B18/B19/B20/B25/B26/B28Certification: RoHS, REACH, ATE, Telec, Docomo, KDDI, Softbank, RCM, CE(RED), GCF, Deutsche Telekom, FCC, IC, PTCRB, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US CellularData TransferCAT-M (Kbps): Uplink: 1119Kbps, Downlink: 589KbpsCAT-NB (Kbps): Uplink: 150Kbps, Downlink: 136KbpsGNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BD and GalileoProtocol: TCP/IP, IPV4, IPV6, DNS, Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPSAndroid RIL: Android 5.0/6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0USB Driver: Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Linux, AndroidSupply Voltage: 3.4 ~ 4.2VSIM Card: 1.8V / 3.0VBe sure to follow the official Github repository steps if you use Arduino IDE and don’t forget to read “Tips” section.Documents:Github repositorySIM7080G related documentsExample sketch
